Our Story
Founded in 2012 by Isabella and Megan, Chocolatería Isla Bella began with a love of Mexico, a passion for exceptional cacao and a commitment to crafting chocolate with integrity, from the bean to the bonbon.
We are dedicated to exploring and showcasing the remarkable diversity of Mexican cacao. Working with organic cacao from small farms across Mexico, we transform each harvest into handcrafted chocolate bars, bonbons, and confections made entirely from bean to bonbon.
What began as a passion for chocolate quickly became a lifelong pursuit of flavor, craftsmanship, and continuous learning. In every step in our process, from visiting cacatoales, roasting and stone grinding cacao, to tempering and hand making each chocolate - we are guided by a deep respect for the farmers who grow cacao and for the ingredients themselves.
We are committed to using organic, thoughtfully sourced ingredients and creating chocolates that are entirely plant-based and dairy-free. By combining traditional techniques with exceptional cacao and carefully selected ingredients, we craft chocolates that celebrate both flavor and quality without any compromise.
Inspired by Mexico's rich culinary heritage and the simple pleasure of sharing something delicious made with care, we create sensational chocolate that is both refined and approachable, made for everyday enjoyment, meaningful gifting, and memorable moments.
